What we collect
When you buy an ebook, checkout is handled by Stripe through its Managed Payments service, and the order is sold through Link, a Stripe company, which acts as the merchant of record: it processes your payment, handles any sales tax or VAT, and emails your receipt. It shares your name, email address, and order details with us so we can deliver and support your purchase. We never see or store your card details.
How we use your information
Your email is used to support your purchase and, only if you subscribe to the newsletter, to send occasional letters and news about new titles. We do not use your email for advertising, analytics profiling, or any purpose beyond what you would reasonably expect.
Third-party services
We use Stripe and Link for checkout and payments, beehiiv for the newsletter, and Vercel to host this site. Each has its own privacy policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties.
Data retention
We retain your email address for as long as necessary to fulfill your order and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion at any time by emailing hello@kalannestudio.com and we will remove your information within 30 days.
Cookies
This site itself does not set tracking cookies or advertising pixels. The checkout window, provided by our payment partner, may use cookies needed to process your payment securely.
